Schedule of Event:
10:30a - Students arrive at ROCS entrance & head to classrooms for costumes (PLEASE arrive on time!)
10:45a - Doors open for seating
11:00a - Program begins (ROCS student performances, graduation ceremony)
12:30ish - Program ends
12:30-2:00p - Reception & food trucks in the breezeway.
Food trucks will be available ~12:30pm. If you’d like to order lunch ahead of time:

ALL STUDENTS (2-day students can be dropped off) - Tue, May 6th - 10:00-12:00p - COSTUMES

Costume Information
General notes for ALL students - Pants should be athletic, with secured waistband and bottom stops at the ankles with nothing going over the heels. Think leggings, sweat pants, etc. Shirts should be soft (no dress shirts) with solid colors with no words/images, or turned inside out. Think tshirts, etc.
We are looking for ribbon & felt scraps in all colors! If you have any laying around, we would be happy to use them for costuming! Thanks!
*If anyone needs assistance finding/purchasing costume pieces, please let us know and we’ll take care of it.
Chickadees - “Turtle Island”
ROCS will provide a tshirt.
Black bottoms sent to school by 4/22. They will be returning after ROCSFest. (Exception: David needs to have brown bottoms.)
NO costume changes.
Larks - “Medicine Wheel”
ROCS will provide a tshirt.
Black bottoms sent to school by 4/22. They will be returning after ROCSFest. (Exception: David needs to have brown bottoms.)

Buntings -
2 & 5-day students - “Honoring the Land”
ROCS will provide a tshirt.

3- & 5-day students - “Honoring the Tricksters”
ROCS will provide a tshirt.
Students will need to provide a pair of old bottoms (any color) that will NOT be returned by 4/22. If your student does not have these, let us know and we’ll provide them.
5-day students will do both dances. These students will need to change costumes. Please have your 5 day student wear body fitting under layer for dress rehearsal days & ROCSFest. For example: bicycle shorts and a tank top or shirt. Another option is swimsuit/leotard underneath clothing. This allows us to change in a group setting backstage.
Thrushes
2- & 5-day students - “Elements”
ROCS will provide a tshirt.

Accessibility Needs Statement
We have put a lot of effort into ensuring the accessibility of ROCSFest, but we recognize that we have not covered everything. We welcome feedback and suggestions as we learn and improve.
The First Unitarian Universalist Church (Red Oak’s home) is accessible via COTA bus lines #2, #102 and #33, COTA Mainstream service, as well as from the Olentangy Bike Trail.
Parking, the building entrance and performance space are all wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs/steps to access the performance space. There is one sidewalk cut at the main entrance.
We will provide ASL interpretation upon request. Please let us know (text 614-362-9776) if you or a guest is in need of an ASL interpreter. Microphones will be used to amplify sound.
A visually accessible version of the digital program will be provided.
Seating options in the performance space includes individual chairs without arms, and floor seating directly in front of the stage. There are marked spaces for wheelchair seating. The seating is easily adjustable to create as much accessible seating as needed.
There are two bathrooms- both have one accessible stall and while they are gendered, folks are welcome to use the bathroom that best fits their gender identity. There is one single stall bathroom available as well.
There is an adjacent viewing room that will be available for sensory-friendly viewing.
There will be two food truck(s) available at 12:30p - (Listed above) We have tried to take allergies and dietary restrictions into account when choosing who to book for our event. Let us know if you will need assistance accessing food trucks or transporting food to your table. Outdoor seating includes picnic tables and a table with movable chairs.
